Learning From My Betting Errors

First to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been betting on the internet or at land based casinos for many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up until you are flat broke. Particularly if you’re on a winning run. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you are just having fun until you start to be aware of your defeats and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel sick in your gut and the harder you attempt the faster you are deprived.
When you see that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, trust me, this logic hardly ever functions. Say you are playing on slots, have an amount set to the side before beginning your play. DO NOT exceed that boundary, regardless how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a different pot. Do not spend your successes no matter what. As soon as you’ve gone through your original set limit, stop. Leave, regardless if it’s online or at a land-based betting house, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.
Always remember, wagering is assumed to be exciting not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t afford the cost, don’t even start.
